All the rooms at The Tembo House & Apartments are fully equipped with air condition, cealing fan, mosquito nets, large and spacious poster beds, cable television ,free Wi-Fi connection, telephone, and fridge/mini-bar and en suite bathroom. There are safe deposit boxes located in our reception for you to store your valuable belongings, and these are accessible 24/7.

The rooms in the new wing and a few in the old wing face the inner court yard and our small, but much appreciated swimming pool. All the rooms in the new wing have balconies overlooking the Indian ocean.

There are two, semi private sunning decks, one situated above the restaurant lounge, the other on the roof of our Suite Tembo.

If you have arrived Tembo House Hotel after along safari in the African wilderness, you may take advantage of our fast and efficient laundry service to wash and clean the safari outfit.

The Bahari Restaurant is located by beach front , overlooking the Indian Ocean and is where we serve you breakfast, lunch and dinner

Should you wish, a private and intimate supper can be arranged for you on either of the two sunning decks while you watch the beautiful sunset over Zanzibar.
